AJR

Band bio, current tour, and videos

AJR is an American indie pop band made up of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met (formerly Metzger). They write, produce, and mix all of their own music, working out of the living room of their apartment in Chelsea, Manhattan — a DIY approach they've kept since day one.

The brothers grew up in Bayside, Queens before moving to Chelsea in 2001, and got their start as street performers in New York City parks under the name TB³ ("Tapping Brothers to the Third Power"). That busking era eventually led to their breakout single "I'm Ready" and their first studio album, Living Room (2015).

Since then they've released The Click (2017), Neotheater (2019), OK Orchestra (2021), and The Maybe Man (2023), touring behind each one. Jazz trumpeter Arnetta Johnson and drummer Chris Berry frequently join them on stage and on record.
